Skoda Fabia is amongst the most famous hatchback cars in India. The car has a direct competition with other big hatchbacks like Honda Jazz, Hyundai i20 and Volkswagen Polo. The Skoda Fabia has been in demand since its launch and this is why you can spot a Skoda Fabia every now especially on city roads. The car provides a decent driving experience which may not take your breath away but is much better than most other cars in its class. The Skoda Fabia was initially launched in the year 2000 in the international market but at that time the sales were not too great.

In the year 2005 the car went back for a facelift and after that it was quite liked by people all over the world. The diesel Fabia is equipped with a 1422cc engine which generates and amazing power of 68bhp at 4000rpm. The maximum torque of the diesel engine is around 155nm in the range of 1600-2800rpm.

On the other hand, the petrol model is fitted with an 1198cc petrol engine which generates a maximum power of 70bhp at 5400rpm.

The design of the car is a bit different from various other hatchback cars available in the market. It provides a better head and leg room then most other cars. The design of the car is such that it looks small from the outside but it has enough space on the inside. The car is a little on the costlier side when it comes to hatchback cars because most Indians like buying affordable hatchbacks like Maruti Suzuki A-Star and Hyundai i10.
