Hyundai Motor India Ltd. has now come up with two latest variants of their premium hatchback car Hyundai i10 – the Era and the Sportz. These exciting new variants are available in both Petrol and Diesel options. The new Hundai i20 is equipped with a range of exciting features like Fully Automatic Temperature Control (FATC) system and an in-built USB port (in Magna). Apart from these features, it is also loaded with several other attractive features like a burglar alarm, steering wheel with audio remote and passenger vanity mirror ( Sportz and Asta). It should be noted that Era is the base variant of the car while Hyundai is looking to bridge the gap between Asta and Magna with i10 Sportz.Hyundai i20 is the first hatchback car in the Indian automobile market which is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission gearbox. Hyundai i20 Era Petrol is the base variant of i20 which is powered by the 1.2 L Kappa variant. This model comes with a five speed manual transmission gearbox that delivers 80Ps of maximum power with a maximum torque of 11.4 Kgm. This variant, if compared with other hatchback cars in this category, is definitely less powerful than many other small cars like Maruti Suzuki A-Star which comes equipped with the latest technology KB10 engine which offers power of 67 ps @ 6200 rpm and a torque of 90Nm @ 3500 rpm.
