Tata Indica Vista - Part II

Women's Dritish Open Golf Tournament Among the latest brigade of small cars available in the market, Tata Indica Vista is surely one car that has been gaining accolades by the dozen. Remodeled around the earlier Indica Vista that was launched in 1998, this new model comes with many interesting new features, the best of which is definitely Indica’s engine. Earlier we have seen Maruti Suzuki tasting success with its new hatchback Maruti Suzuki A-Star, which was built around a completely new KB10 engine and was the first car from Maruti to be equipped with the lightweight K-series petrol engine.

Indica Vista comes along with a choice of three powerful engines, modern interiors, and increased space inside the car as well as better quality stuff being used inside the car. Apart from this, Vista has also been built on a completely new platform. One can’t help but notice that for the major part, Vista drives on the popularity of Tata Indica V2. However, the one thing that really makes Vista stand apart and shout for attention is that it is offered in three main variants with three engine options and is available in both petrol and diesel versions.

The Indica Vista is available in different variants like Terra Safire, Terra Quadrajet, Aqua Safire, Aura Safire, Aqua Quadrajet and Aura Quadrajet. Limited edition variants are available in Quadrajet and Safire. So many variants is really an exciting feature of this car. In fact, the variants are based on the engines- TDI comes with a re-worked version of the 1.4 litre turbocharged 475 IDI engine. This particular engine is a regular in all models of Tata Indica. Maruti A-Star, on the other hand, is sold outside India in continents like Africa, Asia and Latin America under the names of Suzuki Slto, Nissan Pixo and Celerio.
